If you are a coffee lover like us, you know that a reusable cup is a must-have for your daily activity. Walking to work? Coffee cup. Walking to the park? Coffee cup. You might also know that there are up to 200 million single use coffee cups used and thrown away every year in Ireland, and cannot be disposed of in recycling bins. That is the message from Recycling List Ireland*, as it encourages coffee and tea lovers to reduce their use of disposable cups, and consider using a ceramic or reusable coffee cup instead. As part of our goals for sustainability, we decided to collaborate with our Irish partners: Monkey Cups which produces reusable coffee cups. Our mission, together, is to help turn the tide on single-use disposable cups by developing a range of colourful and stylish reusable alternatives.Â
